Dermaplaning

The skin cells on the face that are non-viable or problematic can cause a multitude of problems. Dermaplaning is a painless and noninvasive procedure that removes the dead surface skin to uncover new healthy skin cells, revealing smooth and soft skin. Dermaplaning treatments are a form of manual exfoliation utilizing a sterile surgical blade called a dermatome. The dermatome is carefully stroked over the skin in even motions. Typically, Dermaplaning is only performed on the face, taking care to avoid the eyelids and neck. Chemical or acid solutions may be used in conjunction with Dermaplaning to further enhance your treatment results. Dermaplaning poses no serious side effects and patients can resume normal activities immediately following treatment.
